Trekking around Everest in lower elevation? Yes, it is possible in Pikey Peak Trek. It is a great, less discovered and less crowded route. 6-8 days trek allows to make it without stress and additionally you have a chance to visit some Buddhist sites (monasteries, gompas, stupas and Mani-wall) and sunrise from Pikey peak summit. You can enjoy amazing views of Himalaya range from East to West, Including Everest “Sagarmatha” Numbur Himal, Karyalung, Makalu, Amadablam, Barruntse, Tahamserku, Mera peak, so on and to the west, Gourishanker, Dorje Lakpa, Khang Chhembu, langtang, Ganesh Himal and Manaslu. Not only Himalaya also flora and fauna, depend on what season, if it’s spring time, blossom of Rhododendrons, there are different types and the colors. Sound of birds singing as it’s good time for them for breeding, and Yaks grazing in the meadow.
Autumn beautiful lush as just finished monsoon, generally blue sky to the north walling with Himalaya range, as it’s Yaks territory, we come a cross with flock of Yaks in the meadow. Herder/owner they have a dry Yak cheese (Churpi) available.
